Minnesota EHR Consortium

The Minnesota EHR Consortium is a partnership of health care professionals, researchers, and leaders from Minnesota health systems working to improve health by informing policy and practice through data-driven collaboration. Since March 2020, the consortium has combined summary electronic health record (EHR) data to provide timely information on health equity indicators, such as race, ethnicity, language, age, gender, and rurality. Its work covers COVID-19, substance use disorders, and chronic conditions like cardiovascular disease and hypertension, and supports public health professionals, policymakers, and researchers.

MNSHINE partners with the consortium to create pathways for small and mid-sized organizations to take part in their work.
